Interdisciplinary Training on the Usage of Software Tools for Modern Product Development Processes

2026-02-06
Training 2

An international online training course was held from January 19 to January 23, 2026 as part of the project entitled "TEDI: Teamwork-based Education and Digitalization as an Approach for Interdisciplinary Engineering Training."

Students and staff from three project partner universities participated in the training: Rzeszów University of Technology (Poland), Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), and the University of Oviedo (Spain).

This international training is the latest in a series of interdisciplinary training courses planned for the TEDI project. The previous one took place at Rzeszów University of Technology in May 2025.

The current training has been focused on the application of modern CAx techniques, particularly product modelling and engineering analysis (CAD/CAE) and basic applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in three disciplines: mechanical, civil, and materials engineering. During the training, students were introduced to product modelling, generative modelling, structural modelling, and engineering analysis techniques.

The TEDI team would like to thank everyone who participated in the training and contributed to the project's progress for their active participation, positive atmosphere, valuable discussions, and support.

Another training session will be held soon, this time combined/hybrid (online and held in-person in Kaunas, Lithuania).
